What you leave with
Five deliverables, one recommendation
Customized Launch Packet
A 10–15 page blueprint for your specific community: program concept, funding source, earning and spending rules, merchant economics, governance, and funds flow.
Three-scenario economics model
An editable spreadsheet covering minimum-viable, target, and strong-adoption cases — sponsor budget, redemption, circulation, cost per activated participant, and runway.
Bounded pilot design
The smallest credible deployment: one geography, one civic anchor, 10–20 merchants, 100–300 participants, a defined test period, and clear go/no-go gates.
Recruitment kit
Launch-page copy, merchant, sponsor, and community-partner outreach emails, interest-form questions, an FAQ, and a suggested public announcement.
Readiness assessment
A scorecard across purpose, sponsorship, merchants, operations, funds flow, and compliance pathway — ending in a clear recommendation, including 'do not proceed' when that is the honest answer.

Questions worth asking
Can't we just use a free community gift-card platform?
Yes — and you might. Community card software is inexpensive and sometimes free; we may even recommend running your pilot on existing card rails. The real spend in successful programs is the sponsor-funded incentive pool and the campaign around it, often $10,000–$100,000+. The Workshop exists so that money is deployed against a tested program design with committed stakeholders — it competes with improvised planning, not with platform fees.
Who needs to be in the room?
At minimum: the likely program owner, an organizational decision-maker, and at least one representative from the sponsor, merchant, employer, or community-partner side. Up to six participants. Assembling that group is part of the point — a program without a coalition doesn't need software, it needs this conversation.
What if the honest answer is that we're not ready?
Then the readiness assessment says so, and tells you exactly what's missing — a sponsor, an operator, merchant commitment. That determination before you spend $25,000 on the wrong promotion is much of what you're paying for.
Is this a gift-card program?
A community card can be one implementation of a Local Dollars program, but the Workshop designs the program itself: who receives value, from whom, under what rules, for what local purpose, and with what evidence of impact. Stabletown builds programmable local-value programs — the card, wallet, or rail is a detail chosen to fit.
